ATPL Tournament Overview

The ATPL (Ahmedabad Tennis Premier League Season 9) brings together some of the finest tennis talent from across the region. With 11 teams and 2 groups, the competition will be fierce as players battle it out over two thrilling days of tennis action.

Tournament Structure

• - Total Groups: 2

• - Total Teams: 12

• - Players per Team: 10

• - Total Matches per Tie: 4 (S1, D2, D3, D4)

• - Point System: 1 point per match

ATPL Match Format

• - Qualifier Round: Race to 13 Games

• - Quarterfinals: Race to 13 Games

• - Semifinals: Best of 13 Games

• - Finals: Best of 13 Games

The format allows for high-intensity matches, leading to a thrilling finish with the final matches played in a best-of-13-games format. Teams will compete in both singles and doubles matches.

ATPL Teams & Players
The tournament features 11 teams, each consisting of 10 players. The teams are divided into two groups. Each team will compete against others in their group and accumulate points in the race to qualify for the knockout rounds. Players will compete in both singles and doubles formats, with the goal of securing points for their team.

ATPL Player List:
Players from each team will be listed once the tournament kicks off. The teams will compete in singles (S1) and doubles matches (D2, D3, D4).

ATPL Points Table
The ATPL Points Table will be updated regularly to reflect the results of the matches. Teams earn 1 point for each match won. The top teams from each group will advance to the knockout rounds.

ATPL Match Schedule & Results
The tournament will consist of several rounds:

• - Qualifier: All teams will play in a round-robin style, accumulating points towards the knockout stages.

• - Quarterfinals: After the group stage, the top teams will advance to the quarterfinals, where they will compete in a Race to 13 Games format.

• - Semifinals: The four remaining teams will face off in a Best of 13 Games format.

• - Finals: The winners of the semifinals will meet in the Best of 13 Games final to determine the champion.

ATPL Tournament Rules

• Each team must have 10 players.

• The Qualifier round, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final will follow the formats outlined above.

• Points are awarded on a match-by-match basis: 1 point for a win, 0 points for a loss.

• In the event of a tie in the group stages, tiebreaker rules (based on head-to-head results or game count) will be applied to determine the top teams advancing to the knockout rounds.
