Welcome to Season 5 of the Gymkhana Premier League (GPL)!

Following the remarkable success of GPL Season 4, we're thrilled to announce the start of Gymkhana Premier League Season 5, promising even more excitement and competitive spirit. This season introduces an expanded team lineup and a refined match structure to elevate the tournament experience.

• Venue

➣ Gymkhana Club, Sector 6, Panchkula

• Facilities include:

Gymkhana Premier League S5 Team Event

• ➣ Total Teams: 8

• ➣ Groups: 1 groups of 8 teams each

• ➣ Players per Team: 6

• ➣ Format: Round robin (each team guaranteed minimum 3 matches)

• ➣ Entry Fee: ₹2,600 per player

Gymkhana Premier League Season 5 Doubles Event

• ➣ Total Pairs: 16

• ➣ Eligibility: 25 years and above

• ➣ Players per Pair: 2

• ➣ Format: Knockout

• ➣ Entry Fee: ₹1,000 per player

Player Unavailability Due To Emergency:

• If a player cannot continue due to injury or emergency, a substitute from the same team may be used with the consent of the opposing team.

• A reserve may be nominated before the tournament starts. Once a player has played, no replacement will be allowed.

Gymkhana Premier League S5 Match Rules (Team Event)

• ➣ Matches will be one set.

• ➣ At 6–6, a 7-point tiebreak will be played.

• ➣ If the score is deuce, the winner will be decided by the best of 3 points.

• ➣ A team must win 2 matches in an encounter to win the tie.

• ➣ A player can play only once against the same opponent team.

• ➣ Captains will set pairings and combinations through the TennisKhelo app.

Tie Break for Standings

1. The team with the most games won overall will rank higher.

2. If still tied, the result of the head-to-head match will decide.

Accommodation

Stay available at “Jaat Bhawan” (subject to availability):

• ➣ ₹600 per room (2 persons)

• ➣ ₹800 per room (4 persons)

Disputes

Any disputes will be decided by the Gymkhana Organizing Committee. The committee’s decision will be final.

Cleanliness

Players are requested to keep the premises clean and use bins for litter.
