Jaisalmer is on fire! at the Desert Club, and the Rajasthan State Junior Open Tennis Championship 2025 is officially underway, kicking off on November 20th. Trust me, the level of play we saw this morning was absolutely bonkers.

The weather is gorgeous, the backdrop is stunning, and these junior players came ready to fight. Seriously, there was no easing into the tournament; it was full-throttle from the first point.

In the U-16 categories, the intensity was off the charts. We saw some absolutely grueling rallies, the kind where you honestly think the point is over three times, and somehow they still manage to keep it alive. The effort these kids are putting in is incredible. 

Moving into the U-18 draws, that’s where the real game begins. It’s not just speed; it’s placement. These older players are so smart, hitting drop shots right after hammering a topspin forehand. You can tell they’ve been working on their strategy.
